3 suggestions for your online baby book

By Pauline Bhuren

Creating your online baby book is a unique and fun task. But as a new parent, everything is new to you. Many parents are confused on what to put in the scrapbook. Only you can determine which memories of your little on should be captured, but I can offer you some advice based on my experience.

First, remember make your baby journal as detailed as possible without making it boring. While you may be awed with everything your baby does now, but years later you will see that you wrote the same thing multiple times. Instead of writing by yourself, consider inviting others to contribute to your baby book. Different writers are sure to make the book more interesting.

My second advice is to start immediately after your baby is born. Try to write small things often to avoid missing anything big. You will soon notice that there will be so many wonderful moments that if you don't write them down immediately, you may easily forget when those happened and how.

Third, include as many photos of your baby as possible. Take a picture with everyone and include in your baby book. This will create nice memories to review later. Many of these people may not be around then. Also remember to snap lots of photos with the two of you and add them in the book as special moments with Mommy and Daddy. You will be surprised to notice how quickly your baby grows during the first year.
