5 Features That You Can Find in a Cheap Diaper Bag

By Jen Stoddart

Just because people want an inexpensive diaper bag it doesn't mean that they have to sacrifice style and functionality. For under $70 moms and dads can buy a great bag that... * Is built with quality * Provides great value for the money spent * Helps parents to be organized when out-and-about with their baby

Here are five features to look for when you are in the market to get a new diaper bag.

1. Well designed - look for a bag that is designed with lots of spots to keep your baby stuff - like diapers, wet-wipes, clean clothes, baby rattles, soothers and so on. Look for one that has a pocket to keep your baby's milk or water bottle cool when you are away from home with your child. When all of the stuff that you need is organized so that you know where everything is it makes so much easier to change your baby's diapers quickly - and that's what is important.

2. Built in change pad - there are diaper bags on the market that provide you with the flexibility of a built in change pad for changing your baby. Imagine how great it would be to be able to unfurl a built in change pad virtually anywhere... in a washroom, on a picnic table, almost anywhere.

3. Well made and well priced. A good quality, very functional bag can be purchased for around $70. Quite often the bag's warranty will give you an indication of how well it is built. The longer the warranty quite often the better quality the bag. Look for one with a 2 year guarantee.

4. Has a cool look - just because you want a cheap diaper bag it doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice style. Look for one that will look good on you when you are carrying it. Try to purchase one that is designed for women and men alike. That way either mom or dad can carry the bag and show the world what a great parent they are. How fantastic is that!

5. Easy to take with you. Your bag has to be functional and at the same time you'll want to make sure that it easy to carry especially when you also have the baby to carry. It will be helpful if the diaper bag can be carried over your shoulder, better yet if it can be slung onto your back like a back-pack, and make sure that the strap is long enough that it can be looped over the handlebars of your stroller.
